City Manager’s Blog

Brand New City of Mebane Website!

After months of hard work and dedication, we are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new website!

Our goal with this new website is to provide citizens and visitors with an easier way to learn about the City of Mebane’s services and solutions, while also allowing them to browse information based on their own choice. The new website presents a fresh new look that promotes our “Positively Charming” brand, is easy to navigate, and provides a forum for up-to-date communication with our citizens. The robust, user-friendly design is optimized for smartphone, tablet, laptop and desktop devices.

Our vision for the site is to provide a more interactive experience and to better serve the public by providing the information they need to live, work and play in the beautiful City of Mebane. In addition, we believe it will help Mebane tell its story in a compelling way and serve as our front door to people not yet familiar with us, including visitors, new residents and industries looking for a new location. Among the new features, the site contains online forms, up to date maps and information, dynamic content about upcoming events and current issues, dashboard capabilities, and this blog, where I hope to keep you up to date on current happenings in the City.

Please browse the site and let us know what you think. Tell your friends and neighbors to do the same. And of course, be sure to check back frequently to learn about various community events or just to keep up with what's happening at City Hall.

Thank You!

David S. Cheek, CPA
