The City Manager is appointed by the City Council to manage the day-to-day operations of City Government and oversee all municipal services and departments. The Manager's Office also carries out the policies approved by the City Council and keeps the City Council informed of the City's financial status and other City affairs.

The administrative offices of the City are located in the main Municipal Building at 106 E. Washington Street, and can be reached by telephone at (919) 563-5901.
